CommonTime's mSuite Now Supports New Nokia E71

By Anshu Shrivastava October 08, 2008
CommonTime has announced mSuite support for a range of Nokia devices. This announcement follows the release of their new corporate mobility solution, mSuite5.

The supported devices run on Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition Operating System. The devices include the business dedicated Nokia E71, E61i and E90 Communicator. mSuite5 also supports Nokia N series devices, including the N96 and new N85.

When combined with mSuite from CommonTime, these devices allow full access to Lotus Notes e-mail and PIM applications. With the new software extending full support for Nokia E-Series business devices, mSuite5 gives users more device choice coupled with Lotus Notes functionality.

Designed for the corporate business user, the Nokia E-Series devices are a “great fit” for CommonTime's mSuite solution, according to company officials. mSuite5 is a complete and integrated Lotus Notes mobility solution.

The latest version builds on the “trusted” functionality of mSuite4, giving customers “more benefits and a better experience than ever before.”

Officials said that a streamlined, flexible installation process, and also a dedicated provisioning portal facilitate quick and easy set up. All this, combined with end user deployment and user self registration, makes mSuite5 the “ideal choice” for both corporate end users and IT management wanting to deploy Nokia E Series devices.

Designed for centralized deployment and management, mSuite supports two-way ITX based push for e-mail, calendar, tasks, contacts and journal applications on WM devices and the native calendar, task, contacts and Notes applications on Symbian devices.

Moreover, mSuite takes advantage of rich Lotus Notes functionality including full text mail search, room, reservations and free time searching as well as supporting instant messaging, presence and file transfer in Lotus Sametime.

mSuite is a scalable solution from 10 to 3000 users per mSuite server that is simple to implement and offers complete device manageability and security for the organization.
