Cellfire, a nationwide mobile coupon and discount offer service, has launched Cellfire 3.0, the latest version of its mobile coupon service that provides consumers access to exclusive savings from national, regional, and local merchants on their cell phones.
Enabling consumers to mobilize offers they discover in traditional and interactive media, Cellfire 3.0 includes an enhanced user experience and seamless Web-phone integration.
The latest version of the mobile coupon service also allows advertisers to achieve greater effectiveness and efficiency from their media investment through linkage of mobile coupons to traditional and interactive media and through enhanced targeting.
"With this release we are changing the way consumers save," said Dan Kihanya, vice president of consumer marketing and products, Cellfire.
"Cellfire 3.0 allows consumers to discover mobile coupons wherever they are and through any type of media, and immediately capture the offers on their cell phone, where they can be redeemed without the hassle of clipping, printing or forgetting them,” added Kihanya.
Cellfire provides consumers with convenient discounts directly on their mobile phones. Cellfire claims to be the first nationwide mobile coupon and discount offer service that allows consumers to easily access deals from brand-name merchants nationwide through their cell phone.
Cellfire 3.0 is now available to more than 170 million cell phone users across most carriers and handsets. The new version will be available for Blackberry users by mid-July, but until then, they can continue to use the current version.
"Our partnership with Cellfire has enabled us to engage our consumers in a manner that further differentiates us from our competitors," said Steve Lemley, vice president of marketing, Hardee's.
"We are witnessing strong interest and use of mobile coupons by our customers and expect this to increase with new capabilities introduced by Cellfire 3.0."
Consumers access the Cellfire service through an easy to use mobile application that resides on their cell phone or through a mobile Web browser.
New offers are added frequently, and users can access the Cellfire service at their convenience to discover and use discounts specific to their geographic area. Coupons are displayed in an organized manner, allowing consumers to navigate through coupons by category, save the offers they want to use later, or select the offer they want to use immediately.
Cellfire users are provided with a unique redemption code that is shown at the time of a transaction. Users simply click on the coupon they want to use and show it to the sales clerk for redemption at the point of purchase.
