Streamezzo has announced that NeufCegetel, an ISP that is also present on the mobile services market, has launched the company’sEveryworld platform.
This new portal offers true coherence between Internet, mobile telephony and TV services, e.g. it is easy to transfer services from PC to mobile phones.
NeufCegetel plans to make Everyworld available from all devices: mobile phone, PC (late April), followed by TV.
For this project, Neuf has used technologies that are similar to those deployed on the Internet. StreamezzoExperience, which is a division of Streamezzo that focuses on the development of rich media applications, was tasked with the development of Web and mobile interfaces. The resulting technological convergence means that users can simply “drag and drop” their favorite services (such as Dailymotion, EBay and Boursorama) to their mobile phones.
Olivier Tronchon, Internet Mobile Marketing Director at NeufCegetel said, "Our aim is to transfer the comfort and simplicity of surfing the net to mobile phones. By adapting the interface and services to the network (2.5G or Wi-Fi
), we have developed technologies that will provide the best service to our users from any location. Our vision is for mobile telephones, television and all other equipment to become suitable channels for digital media consumption.”
