Voxbone, a provider of local telephone numbers and VoIP
origination services to carriers, call centers and other communications service providers, announced that it has been awarded licenses and numbering resources to Singapore and Greece.
With Singapore and Greece, the number of countries accessed by Voxbone reaches 43. The new licenses are awarded by Singapore’s IDA (Infocomm Development Authority) and Greece’s National Telecommunications and Post Commission.
Voxbone, through DID (direct-inward dial), provides centralized access to local phone numbers and toll-free numbers to carriers and other businesses across the world. The advertised phone numbers are charged minimal or are free of cost, prompting the customers to call overseas businesses with the same ease as they would call any local business. The incoming calls are directed through Voxbone’s global VoIP network.
For local service in Greece and Singapore, Voxbone has tied up with local Singaporean and Greek telephone companies who get their numbers by national regulators.
Voxbone’s Web portal enables the customers to instantly lease and provision numbers, reducing the acquisition process to minimal.
Darren Yaphe, director of marketing at MOBIVOX, a Voxbone customer, said, “Voxbone is our source for local access numbers whenever we extend the reach of our free- and low-cost international calling service. We rely on those local access numbers, as they enable our customers in over 40 countries to reach our dial-by-name IVR
every time.”
Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Voxbone provides DID numbers and toll-free phone numbers over its global VoIP network. The company offers quality VoIP solutions to its customers. The all-IP
architecture of Voxbone network allows fast deployment of new communications services locally and also reduces cost. Voxbone is a member of the ITU, part of the study group responsible for numbering standardization across the world.
Voxbone leases international DID numbers and toll-free numbers through VoIP clients in North and South America, Europe and also Asia/Pacific regions. It provides quality call origination to its customers, timely and efficiently. Voxbone customers can get inexpensive, locally dialed phone calls from 43 countries. Voxbone was established in 2002 and is a private company.
