With Dial2Do's Voice Recognition Busy Bees Remain Hands-Free

By Michelle Robart June 27, 2008
With Dial2Do’s hands-free technology, commuters can now text, e-mail, Twitter, and update their calendars with verbal commands.

By calling a single phone number, Dial2Do works with existing e-mail, phone and applications so there is nothing to buy, download or configure.

While keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes off the phone and on the road, Dial2Do enables commuters to handle daily tasks and maximize their productivity while in the car.

Dial2Do was the winner of Silicon Valley Association for Startup Entrepreneurs 2008 for “Most Promising New Company”. Dial2Do complies with the new California hands-free law and to the laws in all other states currently contemplating similar legislation.

In order to use Dial2Do, drivers just call the Dial2Do Magic Phone Number and say out loud what they want to do. For instance, if a driver wants to send a text message, they just say “text,” and dictate the content of their text message. Dial2Do converts the caller’s speech and sends it as a regular text message.

Best of all, it’s free.

California residents who sign up for Dial2Do in July, are guaranteed at least one full year of free access to the service. The service is also completely free of advertising. Users wishing to sign up for the Dial2Do service should go to www.dial2do.com.

Dial2Do is the creator of the hands-free phone service enabling consumers worldwide to do simple tasks just by dialing a local number and speaking commands. Users use verbal commands to e-mail, text message, blog, update calendars, schedule appointments, set up reminders, and more.

Dial2Do is currently available in 19 countries and works seamlessly with Twitter, JAJAH, Jaiku or Tumblr to voice-activate those tasks. Dial2Do is working with partners to voice-activate many new online, content and contact services.
