Vodafone and Lamborghini Add Connectivity to Driving Experience

By Ken Briodagh March 07, 2018

Vodafone has become Automobili Lamborghini’s global connected car partner in order to support the supercar company’s infotainment experience, according to a recent release. The two companies will work together to introduce worldwide connectivity into the iconic brand that embodies authentic design and state-of-the-art mechanical technology. The partnership is designed to enable the company to shape the future of the Lamborghini driving experience.

“This is a great example of how two leaders in their respective fields can come together to create something which can really change the experience for customers and help to improve the service from the company,” said Stefano Gastaut, Global Director of IoT, Vodafone.

Starting from 2019, Lamborghini owners will be able to access to the Vodafone Internet of Things (IoT) network, and will enjoy connectivity in over 190 countries.

“The connected car revolution is an exciting field,” said Nicola Porciani, Head of Connected Car, Lamborghini. “At Lamborghini we are committed to create a cutting edge experience for our owners and to ensure them access to the greatest technologies. This project with Vodafone will make us sure to keep our tradition of innovation and excellence.”
