Wayne Water Systems Integrates IoT Tech in Connected Basement Systems

According to a recent announcement, ConnectSense, a smart home connectivity provider, has partnered with Wayne Water Systems, creators of residential water management solutions, on the company’s first premium digitally connected basement protection sump system.

The Basement Guardian solution is powered by ConnectSense’s IoT 80/20 platform. It is a wirelessly connected basement protection system featuring two full size cast iron pumps. The new efficient backup pump reportedly can drain 11,000 gallons of water on a single charge. When a home loses power, the Local Link technology allows the homeowner to monitor their basement on their iOS or Android app from wherever they are.
