By Ken Briodagh December 20, 2017

Following its launch of Catalyst IoT 2.0, its platform for helping OEMs launch and monetize cellular in connected products, Airfi Networks has announced a new collaboration with Telefonica USA. The partnership agreement is designed to enable Airfi to offer its Catalyst IoT platform and service with one of the most trusted global network brands.

“We’re delighted to welcome Airfi and its unique enablement platform, Catalyst IoT, to Telefonica’s IoT Partner Program.” said Pete Wilson, Director Channel Sales, Telefonica USA. “Alongside our global footprint with local presence in 45 countries, over 170 countries with service reach and 1000 pops around the globe, Catalyst IoT will help launch and monetize consumer IoT devices across the Telefonica global footprint.”

Airfi Networks, through the Catalyst IoT platform, works with wireless carriers globally to make it easier for their OEM customers to launch, manage and monetize their cellular devices globally. Through a single platform and solution, Catalyst IoT helps reduce time to market and the complex barriers associated with launching cellular services in connected devices.

“Telefonica is one of the most trusted global carrier brands in telecommunications and we are excited to be working alongside them to bring the benefits of their global network and our platform into one simple value proposition for our customers” said Dariush Zand, CEO and co-founder, Airfi Networks.

Catalyst IoT is designed to simplify how cellular services may be offered to consumers, enabling OEMs to launch devices globally without the technical and commercial complexities of working with different carrier partners worldwide. Through Catalyst IoT’s extensive features, OEMs can adopt and offer cellular services worldwide that are crucial for devices requiring a robust and secure mechanism of staying connected.
