In a series of announcements, Mobile Mark has released the terms of two recent acquisitions: Comtelco Industries, and the X-WAV and TMA antenna lines from Luxul Wireless, a brand of Legrand.
Comtelco manufactures a range of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) antennas for both mobile and site installations. Antenna styles include omni-directional base station antennas, directional Yagi and Folded Dipole Antennas, and in-building Panel and Ceiling mount antennas, as well as Cellular, ISM, UHF, VHF, and Low Band Mobile Antennas.
“This is part of Mobile Mark's commitment to providing high quality antenna solutions for commercial wireless applications,” said Michael Berry, President & CEO, Mobile Mark. “We are pleased to welcome Comtelco into the Mobile Mark family of antennas. Their antennas embody reliability and high performance and complement the current Mobile Mark antenna line. We respect and value Comtelco's strong ties in the wireless industry and believe that together we are stronger.”
The antenna manufacturing will be moved from Comtelco's Glendale Heights, IL location to Mobile Mark's Itasca, IL location. The acquisition takes effect in June 2017.
The other acquisition, from Luxul Wireless, includes the X-WAV flat panel and flat panel sector antennas with Circular Polarization technology and signal propagation and penetration, with less susceptibility to outside interference and multipath signals, and the TMA mobile antennas that provide heavy duty, impact resistant solutions for vehicles operating in tough environments.
“The acquisition of Luxul Wireless X-WAV and TMA antennas will immediately expand the range of antenna solutions we can offer our customers and will position us to develop additional innovative antenna solutions,” said Barry.
“We have taken great pride in our unique antenna lines and we are delighted to find a good home for our products with Mobile Mark,” said Jeffrey Curtis, General Manager & VP, Luxul. “We know that they will maintain the high production standards our customers value.”
The acquisition takes effect in early April 2017.
