MegaChips Signs Representative Agreement with Broadband Technology 2000 in UK and Ireland

According to a recent announcement, MegaChips, a global semiconductor company specializing in ASICs and Application Specific Standard products (ASSPs), including System on Chip (SoC) and Integrated Circuit (IC), has signed a sales representative agreement with Broadband Technology 2000, a representative for electronic component distributors and manufacturers, for the representation of its products in the UK and Ireland. The company said that this deal will help customers in these countries benefit from semiconductor products by adding value for businesses and consumers in the areas of IoT, displays, enterprise, and mobile computing.

“MegaChips’ high-performance, low-power semiconductors have an excellent reputation in the UK and Ireland, and we are pleased to offer their products to our customers,” said Philip Hall, Managing Director, Broadband Technology 2000. “By adding these offerings to our portfolio, Broadband Technology 2000 Ltd is able to provide our customers with products that are designed for people and engineered for performance.”

Under the agreement, Broadband Technology 2000 will promote and support all MegaChips products, including ICs and SoCs that are essential for the advancement of Application Specific Standard Products (ASSPs).

Broadband Technology 2000 is based in Finchampstead, Berkshire, England. It is a technically-driven franchised supplier of electronic products and solutions.

MegaChips America is a wholly owned subsidiary of MegaChips Corporation, headquartered in Osaka, Japan. It provides ICs and SoCs for ASSPs. The company uses its advanced technological capabilities and knowledge to help people achieve healthier, safer and more fulfilling lives.
