Protecting Your Home? Get Kuna

Protecting your loved ones and property is a core concern for many people. The people at Kuna Systems, a break-in prevention solution for homeowners, are eager to help.

Kuna consists of a smart WiFi camera and intercom built into an outdoor light fixture. The product is equipped with a two-way intercom that enables a homeowner to speak to the person at the door or play pre-recorded messages, an alarm, smart light features that can be set to a schedule or controlled via mobile device, and constant alarm engagement with no need to arm or disarm.

When an intruder is seen on the premises, Kuna’s security system proactively alerts homeowners, rather than reacting to a break-in attempt and reporting it afterward. Once the system detects that someone is at the door, it will send an alert to the homeowner’s mobile device. The homeowner then has the ability to watch a live video feed of who is at the door at anytime. The homeowner can be at any location.

“We believe it’s time for home security systems to become proactive rather than reactive,” said Sai-Wai Fu, co-founder and CEO, Kuna Systems.

The Kuna light fixture is currently available in three different models. They are the Kuna Craftsman, Kuna Traditional and Kuna Contemporary. Presently Kuna is available on Amazon through the Launchpad program or at Kuna’s online store.

It moves beyond security, too. Knowing who is at your door, even when you are at home, is handy for dealing with deliveries, solicitors and undesirable folks looking to waste your time. And although it is true that such a system will only work to identify those few burglars that walk up to your door and knock for entry, it stands to reason that at least you won’t get talked into any more subscriptions to Cherries Jubilee Quarterly for $29.95 an issue.

So that’s something.
