Eseye Debuts HERA600 Series of High-Performance Integrated Service Routers

By Nathesh May 20, 2013

Eseye, a provider of M2M solutions, says its newly launched HERA600 series of high-performance integrated service routers are designed to offer the ideal cellular data connectivity solution for M2M sensor technology.

The HERA600 is its first product release since the company recently acquired Dataflex Design Communications Ltd., a hardware provider.

The series includes dual SIM, 3G and Wi-Fi M2M-grade routers, and by making use of dual SIM failover it can confer secure, reliable connectivity and full network redundancy to multiple devices. TR.069, Telnet, SSH, CLI, HTTP, HTTPS or over-the-air with USSD/SMS/IP can be employed in managing these new routers.

Enabled with Eseye’s reprogrammable AnyNet SIM, which selects the best available network, the HERA600 is said to be the obvious choice for businesses looking to securely and reliably enable their long term M2M applications.

“I’m very excited about this launch. The HERA is a great router – robust, reliable and perfectly suited to the needs of a cost-conscious M2M industry,” Said Julian Hardy, CEO at Eseye. It’s been the culmination of months of hard work and development from our dedicated team and is the first of many fantastic products and innovations to come. When we acquired Dataflex we were intent on using the very best of their expertise and this project has been testament to our combined skills. It’s a great achievement for the whole team.”

Some of the notable features of HERA600 are: access and management for all mobile networks globally; dual-SIM and Wi-Fi router, with optional embedded AnyNet SIM; 3G fallback for post installation management and reconfiguration; four fast Ethernet Ports and 802.11bg Wi-Fi; configurable connectivity and service availability health-monitoring agent; tunneling & VPNs using IPSEC / GRE; VLAN and IP QOS support; configurable access controls including configurable Web GUI and CLI per user level; embedded security with IP filtering, stateful inspection firewall, NAT/NAPT, Denial Of Service (DOS) protection; and more.
