West Wisconsin Telecom to Leverage Clear2there VCAS Platform

By Rory Lidstone October 19, 2012

Clear2there recently reached an agreement with West Wisconsin Telecom (WWT) to provide smart home and smart business services, as well as hosted video surveillance and storage solutions, to subscribers throughout six counties in Northwestern Wisconsin. Clear2there is a provider of advanced video surveillance, smart home, smart business, communications and M2M solutions for both service providers and enterprises.

WWT will leverage Clear2there's Service Provider Solution and InfiniVi Video Storage Platform as part of the foundation for its new services, as per the agreement. These services include video surveillance and archival applications, energy management, thermostat control, flood and leak detection, in addition to a wide range of smart sensors and devices typically used in residential, agricultural and business smart deployments.

“West Wisconsin Telcom has been delivering the latest technologies to our customers for more than 50 years. The addition of self-monitored smart services continues this commitment by offering a whole new scope of capabilities that will help our subscribers to better monitor and manage their homes, farms and places of business better through their mobile device or computer,” said Todd Sisko, plant supervisor for West Wisconsin Telcom. “We anticipate a strong demand for these services across the full range of our subscriber base.”

The Clear2there smart home and smart business portfolio features a number of turnkey customer premise bundles, cloud and central office application service platforms, and the company's popular Viewbiquity Cloud Application Suite (VCAS).

WWT chose Clear2there as the company offered simple installation and maintenance, centralized control of software updates, compliance of industry standards for smart devices, seamless Internet access to monitored data from consumer smartphones and tablets, and flexibility.

In September, Clear2there reached a similar agreement with Solarus, again to provide smart home and smart business offerings. As part of the agreement, the InfiniVi Video Storage Platform and the Clear2there Service Provider Solution are to serve as the foundation for home and business monitoring and control services.

More recently, the company recently expanded smart home and smart business solution deployments using the Viewbiquity Cloud Application Suite with local service providers to 13 states across the U.S.
