Frost & Sullivan has recently recognized Numerex Corp. with the 2011 North American Competitive Strategy Leadership Award, in the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Communications market.

Numerex Corp is a premier provider of machine-to-machine business services, technology, and products used in the development and support of M2M solutions for the enterprise and government markets worldwide.

“We are very pleased and honored to have been distinguished by Frost & Sullivan for our growth and leadership role in M2M solutions,” said Stratton J. Nicolaides, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Numerex, in a release.

“Awards such as this underscore Numerex's competitive advantages, technological expertise and industry experience. We are committed to offering innovative, intelligent M2M solutions which are technically advanced, scalable and inherent to our customer's business infrastructure.”

Numerex underwent a rigorous analysis and evaluation by Frost & Sullivan, in receiving Frost & Sullivan 2011 Machine to Machine Communications Competitive Strategy Leadership Award.

The firm benchmark companies' performance in leveraging competitive intelligence, execution of competitive strategy, effect of strategy on market share, brand strength and market position, as well as impact on customer satisfaction and measurement of the company's performance against specific criteria.

“It is very clear to us that Numerex has executed extremely well on several fronts to emerge as the true worldwide leader of M2M communication solutions. Numerex's high-value ROI has resulted in a very loyal, long-term customer base and their expertise continues to be sought out. They are undeniably a driving force for the industry and have embraced their leadership role, steering the industry into a new era of collaboration and growth,” said Vikrant Gandhi, Senior Industry Analyst, Frost & Sullivan.

In related news, Numerex and Enfora announced a partnership with Intelligent Global Pooling Systems to monitor its all-plastic pallets with embedded RFID tags. iGPS operates pallet rental service offering shippers and receivers with all-plastic pallets with embedded RFID tags.

In the last five years, several companies switched from wood pallets to iGPS' offering. The benefits to iGPS customers include the ability to discretely track the location of each unitized load of products. iGPS' asset visibility and reporting generate savings.
