Numerex Named in CW 100 List by Connected World Magazine for M2M Technology

By Rajani Baburajan October 13, 2011

Numerex, a provider of machine-to-machine (M2M) products and services, announced that the company was named one of the CW 100 by Connected World magazine.

Numerex's continuing presence on this prestigious international list recognizes the company's overall success and impact on the direction of the fast-paced M2M industry, company officials said.

The Connected World magazine recognizes top companies that demonstrate significant market traction and pursue game-changing technologies in connectivity.

Selected by the editors of Connected World magazine, the CW 100 has companies ranging from newcomers to enterprises with long established expertise.

“The CW 100 is a Who's Who list of connected device visionaries and M2M technology innovators,” said Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Connected World, in a statement. “It also highlights strong, agile, and fiercely competitive companies that are making their mark in the industry. Numerex continues to be a trend setter in the M2M industry, focused on creating solutions with a solid ROI.”

The selection of CW 100 is based on sales and earnings growth, contributions to the connected-devices space, and innovation in multiple markets served during the past 12 months.

“We are honored to be distinguished once again by Connected World magazine,” said Darren Koenig, vice president, Marketing and Products of Numerex. “This eminent recognition underlines our steadfast commitment to superior service, reliability and performance in the M2M world. It was made possible through the dedicated efforts of our international team of associates and exceptional corporate partners.”

The company offers Numerex DNA that includes hardware and smart Devices, cellular and satellite Network services, and software Applications that are delivered through Numerex Foundation Application Software Technology.

Earlier in March, Numerex and Enfora, a Novatel Wireless company for intelligent wireless networking, announced a partnership with Intelligent Global Pooling Systems to monitor its all-plastic pallets with embedded RFID tags.
