Intrinsyc Software International Inc. announced that it has enhanced its iQ machine-to-machine Development Kit with an expanded software suite and services which will be sold as the iQ M2M Jump Start Kit.
In a release Alkarim Kassam, Intrinsyc’s vice president of Global Engineering said, “The iQ M2M Jump Start Kit makes it even easier for companies to build innovative wireless devices that connect the Internet of everything.”
Kassam added, “With our extended software suite, sample applications, and expert technical assistance, our customers have the tools and support they need to quickly bring their products to market.”
It was revealed that the Jump Start Kit will offer a quicker path to market for companies that are developing compact, high performance, wireless solutions based on Qualcomm’s Internet of Everything Module.
Qualcomm’s IEM enables ubiquitous 3G connectivity in a various small form factor devices including M2M devices and other connected consumer electronics. As it is small, the device can be easily integrated into next-generation Internet connected devices.
According to company sources Intrinsyc’s iQ Development Kit serves as a comprehensive development package that features an iQ expansion Board and an IEM Wireless Module besides several other external peripherals including a camera, Bluetooth, keypad, display, GPS, radio antennas, and expansion connector.
Also the iQ Development Kit supports voice and data connectivity through four unique versions of the IEM Module: GSM/HSDPA, GSM/UMTS, EV-DO, and CDMA2000 1X.
The Jump Start Kit library encompasses an accelerometer/temperature sensor service, camera data, LED control, GPS tracker, HTTP Server, OTA update, and server applications besides a sample application that integrates these features, added officials.
Recently, Intrinsyc Software announced a distribution agreement with AnyDATA Corporation, specializing in the quality design and manufacture of high-performance wireless devices for network operators and OEMs worldwide.
