Clear2there has signed a distribution agreement with GMT Studios, a major player in providing technology, production studios, special effects, and networking services to clients throughout the media and entertainment industry.

As part of the pact, GMT will offer Viewbiquity Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions to production houses and other facilities to help improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.

“We are excited to add GMT Studios to Clear2there’s distribution roster,” said Greg Mantia, chief executive officer for Clear2there, in a statement.

Mantia said that GMT is renowned for its commitment to customer service, and has an extensive reach into the entertainment industry.

“The relationship will give us an expansive and efficient network to deliver next-generation M2M technologies that have a profound impact on business operations in this particular industry as well as others,” he said.

“Clear2there offers a very compelling product portfolio that will help our customers improve productivity and efficiency, as well as integrate many exciting new capabilities like M2M functionality and video surveillance,”   said Alan Hauge, chief executive officer of GMT Studios and it’s subsidiaries.

“We see our partnership with Clear2there as an essential part of our growth strategy to deliver new and exciting services and technologies as 2011 is a major year of expansion for us,” said Hauge.
