Blue Ridge Networks Joins the Industrial IoT Conference as a Gold Sponsor in Florida

By TMC January 15, 2018

Trumbull, CT – January 15, 2018 – TMC and Crossfire Media today announced Blue Ridge Networks has signed on as a gold sponsor to the Industrial IoT Conference being held January 22-25, 2018 at Disney’s Contemporary Orlando, Florida. Blue Ridge Networks will also be exhibiting at booth #809 during the event.

In addition, Blue Ridge Networks CTO Tom Gilbert will speak on the “IoT - The S is for Security” panel at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. The panel will address how companies can identify and isolate threats and implement an IoT Security strategy that manages legacy equipment as well as new opportunities.

The event will focus on the IoT technologies and solutions increasing the productivity and efficiency of manufacturing and production processes. The Industrial IoT Conference is collocated with IoT Evolution Expo which in its 19th iteration is the leading education and networking forum for the enterprise looking to understand how to develop and implement IoT Solutions.

“With the increase of network connected devices and machines driving the convergence of IT, OT, and IIoT networks, digital transformation initiatives within state and local municipalities and energy and utilities sectors are becoming more prevalent and vulnerable to cyber-attacks,” said Tom Gilbert, CTO, Blue Ridge Networks. “Industrial organizations need to prioritize cybersecurity to not only protect critical infrastructure but also to keep it up and running.”

Blue Ridge Networks is a visionary cyber security leader that has pioneered proven network infrastructure, remote access, and endpoint cybersecurity solutions since the dawn of the Internet. Blue Ridge Networks’ solutions are trusted by numerous US agencies and top companies when breaches are simply not an option. Blue Ridge Networks’ patented solutions create secure enclaves that isolate critical operations on networks and endpoints and contain existing exploits by preventing future activation by an attacker – essentially eliminating vulnerability to malicious cyberattacks.
